CONTROL Resonant on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC
Xbox lists CONTROL Resonant for Series X|S and, through Xbox Play Anywhere, for Xbox on PC. It is listed for purchase at $59.99 for the Standard Edition and $69.99 for the Digital Deluxe Edition.
One purchase, two devices
Xbox says “Control Resonant launches in 2026 for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC with support for Xbox Play Anywhere.” The Play Anywhere idea is that one purchase covers both places: Xbox says such titles “can be played across Xbox console, PC, and supported gaming handhelds at no additional cost”, with the player “bringing all your saves, game add-ons, and achievements with you”.
On the console
It is Optimized for Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox lists it for the Series X|S generation only.
On Windows PC
The store page’s Play with block includes PC. The studio’s own release announcement names Steam and Epic for PC and does not mention the Xbox PC version, so a PC buyer has more than one storefront to choose from. See the Steam and Epic page.

Frame rate on Series X
A Pure Xbox reviewer who played on Series X describes a Quality mode at 30 fps and a Performance mode at 60 fps, writing that “Performance mode offers a solid 60FPS with a slightly fuzzier resolution”. That is one reviewer’s account. For a console with numbers from the studio itself, see the PlayStation targets on the PS5 page, and the frame rate and modes page puts the platforms side by side.
Release, bonus and disc
- Release. The Xbox catalogue carries the same 24 September, 14:00 UTC release timestamp as the PlayStation Store. The 48-hour early window on the early access page belongs to the PS5 Deluxe Edition.
- Pre-order bonus. Xbox lists the Hiss Corruption Outfit and the Pickpocket’s Tool Artifact. PlayStation adds a third item, and the pre-order bonus page compares them.
- Disc. A physical Xbox Series X|S edition follows on 15 October. The boxed edition is on the Steelbook page.
