CONTROL Resonant platforms and where each one stands
The studio names PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC for the digital release on 24 September, and other platforms stand in different places. Each row below quotes the studio or the platform holder where they have said something, with a link to where they said it.

What the four statuses mean
- Named for launch
- The studio lists the platform for the digital release. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and the PC storefronts are here.
- Announced for later
- The studio has said it is coming and has given a season or a year, not a day. Mac is the one row in this state.
- Promised, not yet rated
- The studio says it will work and the platform holder has not rated it yet. Steam Deck sits here, on its own page.
- Not addressed
- The studio’s platform statements do not cover it. A store listing or a report is not the studio. Game Pass, Switch 2, PS4 and Xbox One are here.
Which platform for you
PlayStation 5For owners who want the Digital Deluxe Edition early: it is the one platform with an early window, on the early access page. A PS5 Pro adds a third mode. The store lists PS5 only. Mode targets are on the performance page.
Xbox Series X|SFor one purchase on console and Windows. Xbox’s announcement adds Xbox on PC with Play Anywhere, which the studio’s own release announcement does not mention. Xbox’s store lists it with a purchase price.
PC: Steam and Epic Games StoreFor the widest hardware range. The studio publishes six requirement tiers, from minimum to path tracing, on the system requirements page. The Steam page shows Windows only.
Steam DeckThe studio says it will support the Deck at launch. Valve has not rated it, and two reviewers who tried it did not get a steady 30 fps.
GeForce NOWThe studio lists it among its launch platforms. It is cloud streaming, a different thing from the RTX bundle covered on the NVIDIA page. The studio’s wording is quoted on the Steam and Epic page.
MacAnnounced for later through Steam and the App Store, with no day given. The Steam page shows Windows only for now.
Game PassThe studio has not said anything about it and the catalogue does not list the game. The evidence and a way to check it yourself are on the Game Pass page.
Switch 2Not in the studio’s platform list. One report relays a remark from the director and points to no interview to check.
