How the CONTROL Resonant GeForce RTX 50 Series bundle works
NVIDIA packs a Steam copy of CONTROL Resonant with certain GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards, desktops and laptops. What qualifies
NVIDIA names four desktop-class GPUs and four laptop GPUs. The offer comes with the purchase of a graphics card, a desktop system or a laptop that carries one of them, bought “at participating retailers and etailers”, and NVIDIA marks it as running while supplies last. Which exact products count depends on your country. NVIDIA sends readers to its bundle homepage to “see the complete list of products and participating partners in your country”, and its fine print says “Please see Terms & Conditions for a full list of qualifying partner products”. The fine print also notes that the technology varies by GPU. That matters for the game: the studio’s PC requirements name an RTX 5080 for its Path Tracing Enthusiast tier, and the system requirements page shows what each tier asks for. The route, step by step
- Buy a qualifying product from a participating seller. The game is part of the hardware purchase, so it is not a separate order. If you only want the game, the storefront prices are on the price page.
- Wait for the redemption instructions. NVIDIA says “you’ll receive instructions on how to redeem your bundle via NVIDIA app” once you have bought a qualifying product. Its page does not say how the instructions are delivered.
- Redeem in the NVIDIA app, on the qualifying PC. The fine print reads: “Game must be redeemed via the NVIDIA app on a desktop or laptop PC with qualifying graphics card installed.” In practice the new card has to be in the machine you redeem from.
- Redeem in the right country, and meet the age requirement. The terms say: “Some coupons require that they be redeemed in specific regions or countries.” They continue: “Please redeem the code in the appropriate region/country.” A separate line covers age: “Customer must meet the age requirement for the game to redeem.”
- The game arrives on Steam. NVIDIA describes the last step as “just a few clicks later you’ll add CONTROL Resonant to your Steam account”. That makes it a Steam copy, meaning a PC purchase and not a console code. The Steam listing and its features are covered on the Steam and Epic page.
Not stated by NVIDIA
- The page calls it a Steam copy of the game and does not name an edition. What the Standard and Digital Deluxe editions contain is on the editions page.
- It does not say whether the pre-order bonus items come with the bundled copy. The bonus list is on the pre-order bonus page.

What NVIDIA says the game does on RTX
NVIDIA states that on GeForce RTX systems the game includes its complete suite of DLSS 4.5 features and path-traced effects.
