Is there a CONTROL Resonant demo or beta?
The Steam store page lists no demo, and the developer’s pinned FAQ has no entry for one. The studio’s FAQ and the posts read for this page describe no beta or playtest either. What exists to judge the game before buying is official video, which is below.
What the studio’s pages show
The Steam page offers the game and its editions and carries no demo download. What the forums show

A hands-on preview is not a demo
IGN’s hands-on preview reports about two hours with an early build. It is an account of what its writer played and does not point to a download. Written up in IGN: Control Resonant hands-on preview The same goes for gameplay videos posted by outlets and creators: they show the game, and none of them is a build you can install.
A beta key from a stranger is not from the studio
Offers of a beta key or an early build, in a video description, a social post or a code repository, are not something the studio’s FAQ or launch posts mention, so an offer like that is unverified. Do not enter account details or run a downloaded file on the strength of one.
Ways to judge the game without a demo
- Watch the studio’s own videos on the trailers page.
- Check your PC against the six requirement tiers on the system requirements page, and see the frame rate and modes page for console targets.
- Read what critics wrote on the reviews page.
- Each storefront sets its own refund rules, so read the one for your store before you buy. Which stores carry the game is on the platforms board.
